A steroid and preservative free skin care range has now been introduced on the market for sufferers of eczema and dermatitis. The problem skin care range is called 'Allergenics' and has been endorsed by the Natural Society for Research into Allergies. Allergenics contain phytosterols as their main ingredient, plus extracts of the soya bean (GM free), which have a similar action to that of cortisone. The range is available in selected pharmacies and Holland and Barrett (UK). Prices start at £4.99 for a topical emollient cream. |
