Electro-Crystal Therapy

According to practioners of Electro-crystal therapy, the human body vibrates at its own unique frequency. If one part of the body is out of alignment, it vibrates at a different frequency from the rest of the body. The aim of electro-crystal therapy is to pick out the area in disharmony and bring it into balance by stimulating or calming the energy field.

Once problem areas have been diagnosed, coloured electrodes are placed on them. Each electrode is a special flexible silicon tube containing a conductive liquid with a crystal placed inside it. An electromagnetic generator stimulates the crystal in each electrode. The stimulation causes the crystal to emit vibrations which are soothing and balancing.
A variety of crystals are used, such as topaz, quartz, agate and tourmaline. The reason for this is that each crystal has it own special properties.

This therapy has proved beneficial for those suffering from chronic fatigue, back and neck pain.

Electro-Crystal Therapy was invented by Harry Oldfield, a biologist and physicist, in 1983. He combined the use of Eastern traditions and Western technology to form a modern day healing technique. It is now used worldwide by practitioners in Israel, India, Greece, Canada and Australia.

Oldfield videos the auric field of a patient and saves it onto a computer. The computer uses a special program to analyse the light coming off the patient.
The easiest way to imagine the light, would be to visualise the heat pictures we see of the weather forecast of the world. The average human energy field can extend about 6 feet from the body. The colours in a person's field indicate areas of stress, congestion and pain and apparently even detect the negative energy around tumours.
Harry Oldfield is one of the few people today who can give scientific evidence of his methods and a record of his results.

The medical profession are still sceptical and suggest that medical trials should be carried out. However, Hazel Courteney, (Health journalist for the Lifestyle section of the Sunday Times Style magazine), has found that Electo-Crystral Therapy does seem to have the power to heal. She reached this conclusion after interviewing a number of people who have tried the therapy.

A 1 year course in Electro-Crystal Therapy is available at the School of Electro-Crystal Therapy at 117 Long Drive, South Ruislip, Middlesex HA4 OHL. To find a practioner, send a large sae to The School of Electro Crystal Therapy.

Crystal Therapy by Stephanie & Tim Harrison in the New Perspectives series is an excellent book on Crystal Therapy in general. It also has a short section on Electro-Crystal Therapy.
